The Network was a subscription-based service operated by T-Games that allowed subscribers exclusive access to betas, demos and other T-Games content. The Network launched on the 18th of October 2015, the same day as Tri-Expo 2015, and intended to be a re-launch of the T-Games Network system, which was discontinued on June 5th 2015. The Network was largely considered a failure and was discontinued on the 22nd of October 2015 - 4 days after launch.
During its time, The Network gained 11 subscribers.
Betas and Demos
During Tri-Expo 2015 it was advertised that The Network would allow access to the beta of Traffic Panic 2: Road Rage! and the demo of Evergreen Park: Revenge of the Bubbles. Whilst the beta key for Traffic Panic 2: Road Rage! was released, access to the demo of Evergreen Park: Revenge of the Bubbles was never made available, despite the fact that the demo had already been created.
The T-Chest was a planned system advertised on the T-Games website that planned to give exclusive T-Games content to subscribers every month. The description on the website claimed that the T-Chest "may include digital content from the website and within LittleBigPlanet, such as exclusive objects, gadgets, tools, pictures, videos, and more".
Although the information page for The Network remains on the T-Games website as of January 2018 (with a note stating "This service is no longer operational" that was added in 2017), the service was only advertised on the website until the 6th of December 2015. At that point, the related pages became invisible on the main website and the ability to subscribe was removed.
Even though the subscription requests to The Network were still possibile until the 6th of December 2015, the last activity by T-Games through the system was done so on the 21st of December 2015. This is when the last subscriber was officially registered and the last official email was sent through the system. As a result, it is recognised that the system was discontinued on the 22nd of December 2015.
