Lunar Design
Transparent Re-Rendered logo
Rolled Out April 27, 2011
Discontinued August 21, 2013
Designer Billy Anderson
Succeeded by Solar Design

Lunar Design is the name given to the original T-Games logo design adopted by the team from inception on April 27, 2011 until August 21, 2013 when it was replaced by the Solar Design.

Creation

The logo was originally created in LittleBigPlanet 2 by Billy Anderson, using pre-made in-game 'Sticker' assets on 'Hologram' material. Due to the properties of the material in-game, the black area of the logo was transparent.

On September 13 2011 the LittleBigPlanet 2: Move Pack was released, which brought with it a 'Sticker Panel' material in LittleBigPlanet 2, which displayed images correctly. From this point onwards, the Lunar logo was displayed with the center being black.
